MetLife Stadium

The New York metropolitan area is the most populous urban region in the United States and one of the great global cities, known for its cultural institutions, diverse communities, and history as a centre of commerce, media, and sport. Greater New York is home to supporters of clubs from every league and nation on earth.

MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, will host eight matches during World Cup 2026, including the Final on July 19. Home to the New York Giants and New York Jets (NFL), MetLife Stadium has a capacity over 82,000 and is one of the largest venues in North America. The New York/New Jersey region previously hosted 1994 FIFA World Cup matches at Giants Stadium, the predecessor to the current venue.
